Because Jeremy had previously remodeled a bathroom for us, which turned out beautifully, we called him when we made the decision to remodel our kitchen.
Jeremy provided us with various design choices based on what could or could not be done due to the basic design of our home.
We were extremely pleased with the end result. The remodel was accomplished within the agreed upon time frame and the craftsmanship was superior. Jeremy and his workers are great people to work with.
We felt that Jeremy always had our best interests in mind. When we had a concern about the electrical outlets in the dining room, he took care of the problem for us without question. The customer service was superior. We especially appreciated the planning book Jeremy gave us at the beginning of the project.
Jeremy, his carpenters and office staff were always available and helpful to us. The lines of communication were always open to us. The work quality was excellent, the staff was professional and our home was left very neat each day.

We were referred to your company by realtor friends of ours when we were attempting to purchase another home. After that purchase didn’t work and we were settled in our current location, it became apparent that some changes would make living easier and happier. We called you and you engaged us in a conversation about what we wanted to accomplish. As I recall, you provided us with three separate designs, the cost of which was incorporated in the total project cost. I am sure we tried your patience with our back and forth conversation, but you hung in there and gave us a design that worked practically, as well as being within our budget.
When the project began, you provided us a means to communicate our daily concerns to your foreman and when we did, which was infrequently, you responded immediately. During the project, your people respected and protected our property and living space. In fact, Nancy never had to dust, vacuum or clean because of the project environment.
Your job foreman, Dan Wegner, was always friendly and striving to meet our expectations. His people were always courteous, polite and considerate and we appreciated their sense of humor. Your subcontractors were responsive to the needs of our job and all did quality work.
I think the most important service you provided during the project was the clarity of what you were going to do and when you were going to do it. Meeting with us every Friday provided us the information we needed about where you were and enable used to make decisions that were timely and not pressured. The project was completed at the expected time.
Nancy and I are happy to provide you and Freyenhagen Construction with the strongest recommendation. You have done excellent work and enhanced the quality of our home.
Jeremy’s project team helped to design a creative solution for a small space and we found the crew to be courteous and timely. We felt that we were kept informed throughout the process and all of our concerns were addressed.

My basement, better known as the “Pit” was an eyesore filled with many years of accumulated and unsightly “stuff.”
I contacted Jeremy’s office because the name Freyenhagen has become synonymous with quality and he was highly recommended. Jeremy called me soon after. We met several times and the basement project began. Besides being personable, professional and patient, I appreciated his attention to details, his part in keeping abreast of how work was progressing and the fact that he initiated contact when needed throughout the entire process.
I liked knowing who was going to be doing what and when—and that it actually transpired as planned was a great bonus. From my perspective, that does not always occur. The website is a valuable tool in communicating with clients and a great way for them to share their project with others.
The Freyenhagen team is unique, I think, in that everyone seems to like what they are doing. All who I encountered were friendly, respectful and professional and I applaud any and all who take pride in the work! This reflects well on their leader.
Foreman Dan exuded enthusiasm, competence and self-confidence. He always managed to have or make time for my questions and didn’t even seem to mind my “hovering.” With other responsibilities and demands off site, he was unflappable! He offered suggestions and took charge of creating not only a habitable but an attractive downstairs living space that I am loving! I feel he went above and beyond in every regard.
Few people were ever allowed to enter the depths of the “Pit” but those who had seen the “before” can scarcely believe the “after” and everyone else is impressed by the quality of the work!

From the bid process through the completion of our project, Jeremy and the Freyenhagen crew behaved in a professional manner. They were able to implement design solutions that utilize the same footprint of our galley kitchen, but made wonderful use of the available space, and the finished product is gorgeous! They never said that something we wanted could not be done.
As we did our renovation in phases over the period of more than a year, we got to know and like the folks at Freyenhagen. In fact, we trusted the workers so much that after the start of the kitchen, we left town for 6 weeks. We were gone other times during our renovation and always felt confident that the crew would respect our home and keep it safe.
The Freyenhagen crew took every care with the parts of the house that were not under construction. At the end of the day, they made sure that the job site was neat as a pin. At the beginning of each week, they gave us a timeline, which listed when and what would be done during the week. The work progressed at a steady and rapid pace. While we were away, Jeremy emailed photos of the progress.
Our renovation was an interesting and fun process. We feel fortunate to have found such a talented, responsible and responsive company to help us with such an important investment in our home. We recommend them with confidence.
