Meet the Home Remodeling Experts at Freyenhagen Construction

Working with a home remodeling contractor should be easy, and the experienced team of professionals at Freyenhagen Construction are here to make that happen. Many of our team members have been with us for years, and have the training, skills and abilities you want and need. Most importantly, each of our professionals are dedicated to making sure our customers have the very best experience possible by being friendly, dependable and focused.

Jeremy Freyenhagen is very passionate about helping people by delivering first rate service with his top-notch crew. “I love to surprise people with that little extra something they didn’t expect.” Jeremy is very active in many local charities and civic organizations. “Giving back to those less fortunate is important and our company is a great vehicle to do that,” he says. Jeremy has been on the boards of Rebuilding Together Yellowstone County, Interfaith Hospitality and Billings Homebuilder’s Association. When not in the office or at the job site, Jeremy loves spending time with his wife Angie, children, and grandchildren. While still finding time to enjoy basketball, golf, and just about anything outdoors.

Scott Lueck is Freyenhagen’s Production Manager. Everyone who knows Scott understands he’s all about service and doing the job right. He has over 12 years of experience in the construction business, including several years with Lowes and the former Knox Lumber. Scott continues to learn and refine his skills. He has attended a Journal of Light Construction conference in Portland, and a Remodeling Magazine conference in Las Vegas. Kitchen remodels are his favorite projects. “Clients that are so pleased with our work that they recommend us to their family and friends is very rewarding.” Scott and his wife have two boys that also keep them busy. He hopes to make more time for fishing and golfing in the future.

Stephanie Mascarena is Freyenhagen’s Administrative Executive, with over 12 years of experience in customer service and account management. She is vital to our project operation and is in constant contact with our design staff, carpenters and vendors.  When Stephanie’s not coordinating appointments, deliveries, and phone calls, she enjoys spending time with her family, the outdoors, and cooking.

Robert Smith has over 32 years of experience in construction and specializes in painting and taping. He enjoys making changes to maximize space. Robert’s favorite project to date is the Rietz project. We had two bobcats driving around under the house and it was pretty cool, and the project was different than anything the company had done before. Camping and fishing interest Robert, as well as working with model trains. Robert is a quiet mentor to the younger workers and enjoys helping others improve.

Larry Lueck specializes in trim and finish work and has been around construction his whole life. “Seeing the reaction of the homeowner when we transform something into exactly what they had envisioned leaves me with a good feeling,” says Larry. “Different aspects of remodeling, from start to finish, are also very fun.” Off the job site, Larry is a lover of sports. He enjoys everything from the Montana Grizzlies to the Minnesota Vikings, NASCAR to the NHRA. He also enjoys camping and hunting. Although these sports are all fun, the most rewarding aspect of Larry’s life is his kids and grandkids.

Amy Berger is Freyenhagen’s Office Manager and Bookkeeper. Amy is an integral part of our team and our day to day operations, with over 25 years in business management.  She helps to ensure all of our project checklists, books and team are ready and efficient. Born and raised in Billings, she loves all that our great city has to offer. In her spare time she is a group fitness instructor and nutritional specialist.  She enjoys time spent with her husband, friends and family, and being in the outdoors.

Josh Unden is going on three years with Freyenhagen Construction. He is one of the lead carpenters for the company and oversees all phases of the remodel and new construction processes. Josh started his career in construction in high school. Josh credits his work ethic to his 8 years of service in the United States Marine Corps and his on-going 7 years of service in the United States Army (National Guard). Josh likes seeing the day to day progress and how it all comes together into a beautiful new space for the client. He takes cleanliness and minimizing the disruption to the customer very seriously. Josh enjoys camping, fishing and being out in the woods. He is also an avid gold miner.
